Saturday we have the second of this summers CAZBAR RACE DAYS. It is FREE ENTRY with betting facilities, big screen & a BBQ & with every BBQ purchase you get FREE CHIPS!!!

Along with the Men’s Wimbledon Final in the afternoon, Sunday also brings us our monthy Acoustic Heaven night. It gets better every month, so come enjoy the talented artists on show at our open mic night.

This isn’t about travelling quiz teams who get to the pub early to reserve their special seat, who go to the bar and hand in their mobile phones with the hope other teams will follow, who ask for their sheet to be remarked looking for that extra half point, who cry or slam the door in disgust at a second place finish. No, this is the CAZBAR QUIZ! In fact if we did quizzes (which we do), we would probably have the best quiz in the world (which we do)!

Not only do you get to compete for a CASH PRIZE & great (sometimes crap) giveaways, each individual has a chance to play our now famous SHOTS ROUND where you can DRINK or NOMINATE!!

The complete card from the World Famous Epsom Downs will be shown on screens around the bar. Also on offer will be a betting facility so you don’t have to move a muscle to place your horse racing bets. We will be the only place to see this quadruple of crunch clashes featuring Newcastle United, Hull, Sunderland & Middlesbrough.

It’s to Villa Park to see Villa entertaining Newcastle, the KC Stadium to bring you Hull’s game with newly-crowned champions Manchester United and with Sunderland’s defeat at Portsmouth on Monday keeping them in the relegation picture, we will be showing their home game with Chelsea.

The Black Cats and Hull City both know a victory will spare them from an immediate return to the Championship, while Newcastle will need a point to survive should the Tigers lose.

Middlesbrough, who travel to West Ham need a minor miracle to stay up. Only a win and defeats for Newcastle and Hull - plus a four-goal swing against the latter - will be enough, that is our fourth game.

On top of all this we have a BBQ that kicks off at 2pm.

Just a quick post to let you know whats happening this weekend at CAZBAR. Thursday see’s the credit crunch quiz with your chance to earn some money, drink some FREE booze and generally have a fun night that all starts at 8.30pm. Friday is a HAPPY one with our Indie Anthems dj nite and the following night sees the ever green Music Tree evening. In between that we continue with our CAZBARbecue* from 2pm which will run alongside the afternoon’s sporting events.

Acoustic Heaven returns this Sunday (as it does on the first Sunday of each month), our ever gowing open mic night should see you enjoy a chilled out & relaxing evening.

Adrian Wilder Memorial Golf Day

Friday 3^rd April 2009

The time of year has come to dust off the golf clubs, get out into the fresh air and hit a small ball round a big field ……. for the 3^rd Annual Adrian Wilder Memorial Golf Day.

This year’s event will be held at Cottesmore Golf Club on Friday 3^rd April 2009, which is a lovely picturesque course noted for it’s lack of bunkers!

The cost of the day, which includes coffee and bacon roll on arrival, 18 holes of golf followed by lunch, is only £40.

We would like to make this the biggest and the best one yet so if you would like to come along, please can you let me know as soon as possible.

As it is a case of the more the merrier, please let us know if any of your friends would like to come on the day too.

All you need to do now is remember where you’ve left your clubs……..
